MDMA Equipment and Kohel Power Equipment have merged to form "Tractor Central", northwest Wisconsin’s largest John Deere dealer. Tractor Central will market itself as the New Generation of MDMA Equipment and Kohel Power Equipment.
Pudge and Jack Kohel from Kohel Power Equipment along with Sig Weiss and Gene Schlosser from MDMA Equipment have announced that the merger/consolidation is complete and effective 1 August 2009.
Weiss, who has 56 years of experience selling and servicing John Deere products says, "We are excited to bring together two such great companies as the Kohel and MDMA groups, who together have a 98 year history of outstanding customer service and look forward to continuing that tradition as Tractor Central."
Operation locations for Tractor Central will continue at Arcadia, Cameron, Chippewa Falls, Durand, Eau Claire, Granton, Menomonie, and Mondovi, with all remaining open to continue serving our customers. All employees have been retained by the new company, Tractor Central.
Tractor Central’s John Deere area of responsibility varies by product line, but does extend from Bayfield County to the north, Trempealeau County to the south, Clark County to the east, and Pierce County to the west.

Tractor Central sells and services the full line of John Deere agricultural products that now includes self-propelled sprayers. In addition, it also sells and services the full line of John Deere Turf and Utility equipment for home and commercial lawn and grounds care, as well John Deere skid steer loaders for farm, properties, contractors and government use. Tractor Central’s new and used inventory is available for viewing through MDMA Equipment and Kohel Power Equipment’s existing websites ( www.kohelpower.com and www.mdmaequipment.com), until the finalization of www.tractorcentral.biz is complete.

Tractor Central will honor all purchase, warranty and service contracts that were established under Kohel Power Equipment and MDMA Equipment.
